Shipping & Delivery Times

If the product you ordered is available in our logistics center, we usually ship your order within 1-3 working days. Depending on the delivery country and the size of the product, your order will be delivered to your home within 5 to 14 days (delivery time plus processing time, usually 2-4 working days within Germany, EU countries 3-6 working days). Please note the information provided directly on the product page.

After you have received the shipping confirmation, you can use the tracking link from the shipping provider to track the status of your package. Generally, delivery within Germany takes 2-4 business days, while all other EU countries are delivered within 3-6 business days.

Shipping within Germany is free of charge for orders over 25€. For deliveries to other European countries, shipping costs apply, which you can view via the following link:

No, express deliveries are unfortunately not possible. However, experience shows that we are usually able to deliver within 2-4 days for national shipping.

Yes, you have the option to select a destination country during the ordering process. Our delivery options are limited to the European area. We can currently deliver to the following countries:

Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Great Britain (including England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland), Italy, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary

If you have not received your order, first check your inbox on the tracking website of the shipping provider (usually GLS or DPD). If the package is on its way, it should arrive within the next 2-6 days.

If the status shows "Delivered", please inquire with your neighbors to see if your package was left somewhere. If this is not the case, please contact the roba customer service for assistance to investigate the cause.

Yes, as soon as we hand over your order to the shipping service provider, you will receive an email with a tracking link that you can use to track your shipment.

This depends on the status of the order. If the order has not yet been shipped, an address change is usually possible. After shipping, you can only try to change the address through the tracking link.

Usually, the delivery person leaves a notification card indicating whether the package was left with a neighbor or when a new delivery attempt will be made. Sometimes the package is also stored at a nearby pickup location.

Please always inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and refuse acceptance if there are visible defects. If defects are only discovered during assembly, please proceed as follows:

1. Report the damage immediately to service@roba-kids.com.

2. Include the following information in your message:

  • Where was the product purchased?
  • What is the model number of the product? (You can find this on the barcode on the package)
  • Are one or more packages affected?
  • Attach at least 2 photos of the damages.
  • If individual parts are damaged, please mention the part numbers from the assembly instructions so we can initiate the replacement process.

We will address your request as quickly as possible and find a solution.

Returns

If you ordered through the roba web shop, please send an email with your order number (the invoice is included in the package) to service@roba-kids.com. You have a 14-day return guarantee without providing any reason. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. You will receive a return label and can drop off the package at the nearest parcel shop.

If the product was purchased from another retailer, please contact their customer service first.

For customers with a billing address in Germany or Austria, returns are free of charge within 14 days.

For orders from other European countries, we reserve the right to retain the shipping costs unless there is a product defect or damage and the return is made because the product does not meet the expectations ("I don't like it!").

As soon as the returned goods are registered as received in our warehouse, you will receive a notification that your order has been approved for reimbursement. This step ensures that your return is properly processed.

The actual reimbursement is carried out by your chosen payment provider (credit card, PayPal, etc.) and usually takes 2-4 business days. For shop orders, you will also receive an email once the reimbursement has been processed so that you are informed about the status of your refund.

Spare Parts & Defects

We care deeply about you as our customer and the quality of our products. Therefore, we take complaints very seriously. We are very sorry that you are not satisfied with our products and would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product. They will handle the complaint process and will get in touch with our customer service on your behalf.

To obtain spare parts from roba, please contact our customer service directly via the contact form on our website. Please provide the model number and a detailed description of the required spare part.

You can receive prices for spare parts via email from our service department at service@roba-kids.com or through the contact form.

The delivery time for smaller parts is up to 14 business days. For larger furniture parts, the replacement delivery usually takes up to 4 weeks.

Product Availability

We are working to restock sold-out products as quickly as possible to make them available to you again. To ensure that you are immediately informed as soon as the desired product is back in stock, you can sign up for our notification list below the purchase button on the respective product page. This way, you won't miss any updates and will have the opportunity to purchase the product as soon as it becomes available again.

We use a contact form that automatically sends an email to customers as soon as the desired product is back in stock. Simply fill out the form below the sold-out product directly on the product page.

There is generally no limit to the quantity you can purchase. The available stock is released in the background until it reaches zero. As long as there is sufficient stock, you can order as many products as you wish.

When you place a pre-order, you are purchasing a product before its official release or reavailability. Your place in the queue is secured, and the product will be delivered to you as soon as it becomes available. Depending on the payment method you choose, external payment providers (such as Klarna or PayPal) may require you to pay in advance, as availability is not considered in these cases.

Quality & Safety

We exclusively manufacture products made from tested, certified, and environmentally friendly materials. All our products are rigorously tested according to the relevant safety criteria of standard testing procedures before we bring them to market. For us, it is a matter of course that we develop roba baby & children's products according to the latest EN safety standards.

Materials & Certificates:

All the materials we use are regularly tested for freedom from harmful substances and safety by independent institutes and accredited laboratories. This applies to all wood materials such as solid wood, chipboard, MDF boards, and plywood, as well as all textiles, mattresses, films, paints, varnishes, plastic materials, and packaging.

All the varnishes we use are water-based, pollutant-free, environmentally friendly, and saliva-resistant. As a result, the surfaces are harmless to health, even if your child licks or bites them.

According to DIN standards, loft beds are recommended for children only from the age of 6. However, we know from most of our customers that loft beds are already used from around the age of 3 - possibly with additional fall protection for safety reasons. Ultimately, each customer must decide for themselves when their child is ready to sleep in a loft bed, as this also depends on the child's development and habits.

The chipboards used in our melamine-coated furniture comply with emission class 0. The formaldehyde content is very low and well below the legally prescribed limit. However, it cannot be said that they are completely free of formaldehyde. A completely formaldehyde-free environment does not exist. Formaldehyde is, among other things, a metabolic product that can be detected in small amounts even in solid wood.

Everyday example: 1 apple contains more formaldehyde than a 3-door roba wardrobe.

Due to the production process, your new furniture may initially emit a certain odor. However, this is completely harmless to health and usually dissipates within 48 hours. During the initial period, thorough ventilation can help, possibly with drawers and doors left open. In freshly renovated rooms, odors can also come from the floor, walls, or ceiling, not just from the new furniture.

Our children's beds can withstand a load of up to 50 kg. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee higher loads. Therefore, an adult should not sit on the children's bed – even if it has been converted into a junior bed. The children's beds are designed exclusively for use by small or growing children.

Natural wood is always subject to a certain process of darkening. This is intensified by direct sunlight and unfortunately cannot be avoided. Even furniture pieces purchased later will darken again and, after a certain period, will largely match the already existing furniture. However, color and texture differences cannot be completely ruled out. Generally, these differences are not perceived as bothersome.

Assembly instructions for your roba products can be found at the bottom of each product page, provided the product requires assembly. For sets, individual products are listed under the heading “Set consisting of,” where you can view the assembly instructions for each individual product. If an instruction is not available, our customer service will be happy to assist you.

If a suitable side shelf for the purchased changing table is available, it will be displayed under "Matching Products" on the product page. If the product is temporarily unavailable, you can usually find the article number in the text section. Once the side shelf is back in stock, it will be displayed below the action buttons.

If suitable conversion rails for your combination crib are available, they will be displayed below the action buttons on the respective product page of the crib.

Additionally, the text will refer to the corresponding article number. If the conversion rails are currently unavailable, you can use our information service on the product page of the respective conversion rails to be notified as soon as they are back in stock.

Most roba changing tables have a changing surface of 85x75 cm, so usually all changing pads with the dimensions 85x75 cm fit. You can choose a changing pad with these dimensions that suits your needs and preferences.

Only mattresses with a maximum height of 10 cm may be used for roba beds. This is stipulated by the DIN standard to ensure maximum safety for your child. This guarantees a minimum distance from the top edge of the grid side of 20 cm at the highest slatted bed base position and a minimum distance of 50 cm at the lowest slatted bed base position.

No, our door and stair safety gates are not suitable for outdoor use, as they are made of untreated natural wood and are not coated with a wood protection varnish to preserve their natural appearance.

The floors of our playpens are loadable up to 15 kg according to the DIN standard EN 12227:2010.
